The GSU recognizes and supports the Magna Carta of Women or

R.A 9710 approved on August 14, 2009, Section 13, “Equal Access and

Elimination of Discrimination in Education, Scholarships and Training.

Recognizing the students as target clienteles of the academe, the GAD

office includes activities and programs that cater to the needs of students such

as peer advocacy addressing gender issues and concerns related to Adolescent

Reproductive Health (ARH).

Section 13 (c) states, “Expulsion and non-readmission of women

faculty due to pregnancy outside of marriage shall be outlawed.
